Vlad Logical, get well soon. FWIW, my Dad had triple bypass several years ago. He's now stronger than ever, literally. He too went through a time of depression so don't let it worry you. When he woke from his surgery, we were all standing around his bed and he said "I'm surrounded by angels".
I know it's easier said than done, but think positive thoughts.

Glad to hear the surgery went well and I'll keep him in my thoughts.

And just think all these years Logical wanted us to think he had no heart.
