Even if it took me a while to warm up to his style, I've always thought people were too quick to criticize him. Everyone wants to call every loss a choke, but like it or not, you can't go from Roy's style to Self's style overnight; and the best coaches don't always work miracles with young teams.

I've been hard on Self, but I love this team as much as any KU team in my lifetime...I like their personalities, the way they play D, the dominating guard play, and Julian Wright...nobody wants a piece of us this year..
