No problem with him as head coach but I think, other than owning the 4th round, he has had some terrible, terrible drafts...plus he routinely trades draft picks for worthless players on opposing rosters...seems like he values free agency more than the draft and I don't think that's how you win in today's NFL.

WOW! The Rat just got PAID! $20 mil!

He's a great coach, will have a job tomorrow if he wants it.

He is a great coach.

He should absolutely be considered here when the new GM signs on.

At least he knew to get rid of Portis instead of handing him the keys to the bank.

the Talking Can 12-30-2008 04:37 PM

shanahan has been treading water for a decade....firing assistants and signing one terrible FA after another while going no where...

he is way past his prime...he needs a break

no way do i want him in kc

i'd rather have cowher, it that were the choice

Mr. Laz 12-30-2008 04:38 PM

i don't want him as GM/HC though

he needs a GM to keep a leash

KCChiefsMan 12-30-2008 04:38 PM

That's true. Good point.

Sure-Oz 12-30-2008 04:38 PM

He is a great coach, just keep him at that, and he will get a job fast and yes we should consider him
