I see on that site (and another) that he had a previous address in KS...can't find where it says he still has a property there (or recently bought one)...

Wellll thats completely different. But why would Cowher hang onto a house for 15 years or so? Just an investment? No way he would rent it out. Why bother with that hassle?

Even if he did buy the house. Pioli has full control of football operations. Cohwer isn't going to want to come to KC and not have a final say in some things.

That search of records doesn't mean that he does. It only means that at one time he owned property there.

I used that site to search myself, among the results was "4 Addresses in SAVANNAH, GA."

Well, I haven't lived in Savannah since 2006, I don't own property there anymore and those addresses would have to go back at least to 1993. So ...

I am fairly new and I can attest to that. I have gotten negative reps for simply stating that I support a certain college or for jumping into a post with 3000 replies and posting something that was posted 200 time before me.

I think some people in here should loosen up, CP is a great place and the more newcomers get this kind of shitty welcome, the more they will turn to other places.

I have checked the Classics forum and boy, I have seen many great posters that now are gone. I bet some of them left because of some of the dipshits in here.

I'm just saying.

I find it difficult to believe he held on to a house for 15 years, but the record isn't proof that he recently purchased.

If he did come to KC, then it would likely be a partnership similar to the one that Belicheck and Pioli had.

Either could veto a decision by the other.

They worked together and came to mutual decisions.

That being said, I find it highly, highly unlikely that Cowher is coming to KC.

I was going to post a new thread about this, but for now I'll just throw it in here instead.

I don't think that it's any secret that people around here are a little uptight about news coming out regarding (until last week) our GM and (now) our head coach situation. Given that, here are a couple points to consider regarding thread titles.
  • If you're being intentionally misleading in your thread title (e.g. "Herm fired!" when it's related to something he did with the Jets or whatever), you're gonna get a vacation and most likely lose your thread starting privs. That's the way it's been for a long time now, and probably isn't going to change.
  • If you're posting something that you heard from a friend or some obscure web site, there's nothing wrong with that. When we're this starved for information, that may be all we get! However, do us a favor and start the thread with the word "rumor" in the title or add a question mark to the end of your title to let people know that they shouldn't consider your thread to be a statement of fact.

FTR, I think this guy falls under the latter, so I don't see any reason to start throwing the "ban" word around.

Exactly. The guy shouldn't be banned, but he deserves criticism for stating that he heard from his brother's sister's boyfriend's ex-roomate that Cowher bought a house.

Wouldn't the first one be the "former" and the second be the "latter"?

That was your job.

You have been an epic failure recently at it.

Um...yes? I'm confused.

EDIT: Heh...oops. I got an extra "don't" in there.
