What a load of crap. I thought that sort of thing was relevant to places like Oakland, and here in Steeler country. It kind of makes me mad being a Chiefs fan.

There were always bad apples and silly posters on the other boards I've frequented, but they were always trumped out by serious, football-minded posters.

That's not the case here. Just a whole lot of clowns.

I knew this would come up eventually, and first and foremost, let me say to those who were "left out:"

Don't take this personally.

The bottom line is this:

Last year was a ****ing farce. I worked my ass off last year to make this thing run as smoothly as possible, and as realistic as possible. People disappearing, trying to find replacements, soothing people that were pissed off that they had fewer picks than someone else, etc. All under a deadline.

So I made an executive decision, with the help/advice of others to scale things back. I think you'd agree that all operations tend to run smoother when fewer, more dedicated people are involved.

I knew going into this that there were going to be some good people left out. You being one of them. Marco Polo being another.

But the line has to be drawn somewhere. There's no way to divide 32 teams equally without taking it down to 16 owners. We haven't even started yet, and I'm already disappointed because I've got one guy with 19 picks and another with only 10. And I know the right decision was made including the guy who has 10, because he hasn't bitched about it. He'll work just as hard as the guy that has 19 picks.

By all means, if someone else wants to create another mock with other folks, be my guest. You're more than welcome to use everything I post in regards to draft order, trades, etc. Even with all that being done for you, I assure you, it's a lot of work. But I enjoy the hell out of it - and hope like hell this is the best year yet.

Again, I'm sorry to those who feel left out, but I assure you - it's nothing personal.
