When you get it back you whine that you are being told you can't say anything. Nothing of the sort. Fire away and have the balls to be fired back on

Blindly following and blithely accepting is one sure measure of ignorance.

For Gibbs that has to suck. He used to be over Teddy Pendergrass and now he will be under him.

when you google Gibbs, it indicates that he is the DC and Pendegrast role is undetermined.

No, it's fine to counter what people are saying. But being a fucking jackass while doing it is quite another thing. If you will notice, the people who aren't being said fucking jackass, are being respected back. Talking to people who have been Chiefs fans for years and know their shit like an asshole, won't score too many points.

Now, quiet down junior. The adults are talking

It will be "In Arizona" instead, that is if they even speak to the media.

If it was chaos, why announce anything at all? They could have just waited to sort everything out.

I'm just shocked that a rival fan would think this was chaos. Just shocked.

May have already been posted but did not see it...

A source close to Romeo Crennel said Tuesday night the former Cleveland head coach and former New England defensive coordinator is not close to joining the Kansas City staff as a defensive coordinator. It is possible, at some point, the source said, that Crennel could join former New England colleague Scott Pioli as a defensive consultant.

I'm waiting to hear anyone put forward a logical reason to withhold that information if they know it. Maybe they just don't give a shit that their fans are interested?

And I'm waiting to hear a reason to announce the hirings if they didn't already know who was coaching what.

When Pioli and Haley met with them, did they just say you're going to coach the Chiefs and we'll decide your position later?

But yes, keep believing it's chaos.

It's obvious they're waiting on something. If they announce Gibbs as DC and then hire Crennel, what are they going to do, retract their announcement? On the other hand, if they announce him as LB coach and Crennel (or whoever) doesn't come aboard, how do they explain Gibbs' sudden promotion next week without giving away that they didn't get their man?

There may be other hires in the same vein. Hunt said they weren't through yet.

The net result is that they still don't know what jobs one or more of those guys are going to have.

Hydrae 02-18-2009 10:48 AM

If the coordinators are not known at 1 Arrowhead Drive already then this whole hiring thing is bass-ackwards. You don't hire the assistants and then tell your new coordinator this is who you have to work with. You hire the coordinator and then at the very least give them a chance for serious input on who they wants to have working for them.

missinDThomas 02-18-2009 10:51 AM

I don't think Romeo is going to coach this season....He is supposedly going to have a hip replaced
