WOW.

I was wrong as well. But I still say Chicago paid $1.50 in quarters for $1 bill.

Bears gave up a ton, but they need a QB bad.

#3 though...

Yeah, I wasn't thinking #1 - more like the 3-5 range. I'd still be surprised if division rivals agreed to such a blockbuster trade...

Deberg_1990 04-02-2009 03:31 PM

Obviously the Bears are expecting next years 1st rounder to be low. If that turns out to be the case, they really didnt give up much for a franchise QB.

Buck 04-02-2009 03:31 PM

Damnit.

The AFC West doesn't play the NFC North again until 2011.

DaFace 04-02-2009 03:31 PM

I'm surprised people don't think Cutler's worth that, frankly.

They just got a franchise QB, a commodity that they haven't had since Sid ****ing Luckman, and he's pretty much a local (Santa Claus, IN), and he's on a very reasonable contract.

Yeah, and their defense is top notch.

Remember folks, this is a team that's just a few years removed from a Super Bowl. If they had a QB THEN, they'd have a recent Super Bowl trophy

You might want to check the game logs again.

He's from San Diego.

Don't worry all the QB's in the draft suck, Chiefsplanet told me so.

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. Remember, Taint just retired on them, so they'll have OL issues.

A drunk diabetic playing behind a suspect line.... the Bears fan in me is not happy.

Um some people here think Cassel is better that's really all you need to know about reasonable thought.

There are people on this board who wouldn't trade a first round pick for Peyton Manning. There are also people on this board who wouldn't give any Denver player any credit, no matter what they did (see Rain Man claiming that Warren Moon was a better QB than John Elway).

Ah.

I see, said the blind man.

tboss27 04-02-2009 03:33 PM

Bears offense could actually be pretty decent now with Forte, Cutler. Could be real good if they find someone for him to throw to

Brock 04-02-2009 03:33 PM

They're going to have to move at least ahead of Seattle for Sanchez, IMO.
