In Iowa it's based off the year and weight of the vehicle. So every year the vehicle gets older the registration goes down. They give a break to Truck owners it's a Farmer thing. Or at least they use to, I think my account mentioned last April that may change.

I think my 2006 Dodge Ram is around $75 a year.

Wife's 2003 Ford Taurus was well over $200 a year when we bought it when it was 2 years old, now it's $130 a year.

Well, I hate that I have to pay 50 bucks every year, and yeah it went up $5 this yr. Then I discovered other states charge obscene amounts, namely KS. The $5 increase was not the reason for starting the thread. My interest in what other states charge was my motive...

I have a 2001 Honda Civic.

It was $49 last year.

This year it was $208.
