It's been discussed before, Spiller wouldn't take the ball out of Charles hands infact the opposite. This is the reason the Chiefs have sucked at drafting, drafting to fill a position opposed to drafting the best player is stupid.

Sean Taylor is the only safety taken in the top 5 and it was *at* 5 in the last 10 years. That's as far back as I cared to look.

Basically everyone thinks Detroit is taking Gerald McCoy so you should list him....

Eric Turner went 2nd back in the day.

I said Crabtree wasn't worth a top 5 pick because there wasn't enough separating him and Hakeem Nicks who would go 20 some odd picks later and guess what...there still isn't as Nicks has performed better than Crabtree.

Do you consider the fact that Crabtree missed all of training camp? Or that Nicks has a better QB getting him the ball?

Just giving you crap, don't take it personal.

I just give my views, I wouldn't use a top 5 pick on a WR unless he was a truly elite prospect that didn't lack anything physically.

I think both Bryant and Williams are 10-20 type of prospects I thought the same of Crabtree, just because I didn't want the Chiefs to take him 3rd doesn't mean I hated him. My favorite receiver was Nicks and well he's value is obviously much better to his team for where he was picked.

Charles should be getting 20 carries per game. If you draft Spiller, you probably limit him to 10.

Explain how this doesn't take the ball out of Charles' hands?

Because the only explanation I've heard is that they run a gimmick split-back offense, an offense that even one of the best offensive minds, Norv Turner, doesn't run with two outstanding backs.

He would of been the monster DT if it wasn't for Suh. Not as dominating of course, but has better technique.

Mecca 12-27-2009 03:45 PM

I don't think Charles can make it through a season taking 20 carries a game.

Mecca 12-27-2009 03:46 PM

McCoy is more of a penetrating type of DT, he's going to go in the top 5 so it's not really outlandish to think Detroit will take him.

Why wouldn't he?

KC kid 12-27-2009 03:46 PM

There would be a mutiny if KC took a DT at 3. The only pick KC can make that will be considered a good pick across the town is Berry

KC kid 12-27-2009 03:47 PM

So is it a given for st louis to take a qb?
