Yes, actually.

Wake me when Cutloser ever has a winning record.

Yes the Bears losing record has nothing to do with their shitty defense or having the worst offensive line in football, it's all Cutlers fault!

If you really believe Orton is better than Cutler or you'd rather have him you're just lying to yourself.

It's funny how every team Cutloser goes to just seems to fall apart.

It's never about him, though. He's just unlucky.

So what's the Broncos excuse now?

orange 01-02-2010 04:14 PM

Excuse for what? They're going to do at least as well as last year - in their HC's first year, with a new DC and defensive system, over 50% roster turnover, etc. What did you pick for their record in the pre-season - 3-13? They must be VASTLY overproducing based on the mighty Mecca talent scale.

If you can be positive about a coach pissing off his best player and fading down the stretch, by all means try.

Yep - you're apparently correct. I thought it was based on PAST performance, but they apparently delay the award for a year and base it on performance with the player's new team. My bad.

However, I did notice that salary is a big portion of the equation, so one could argue that a poor performance this year would lower the player's future salary and, therefore, lower the compensatory selection. Still, that's certainly not a direct relationship.

They won more than three games. That's a positive.

He "pissed off" his best player who was dogging it and wasn't going to play anyway.

The same one he "pissed off" by suspending him in the pre-season - before said player put up a pro-bowl year. Marshall is just a drama queen.

Are you really that stupid? Denvers D was horrible last season. The Bears is bad this season. Whats funny is your D is pretty damn good now, and you still may not make the playoffs.

KCrockaholic 01-02-2010 04:20 PM

Well when your players refer to the head coach by his first name in all of their interviews, that tells me they don't look up to him and have much respect for him in the first place. I never hear them say "Coach McDaniels" Its almost always "Josh"

BigMeatballDave 01-02-2010 04:22 PM

I cannot even imagine the dumbassery of wanting Orton over Cutler.

23 TDs 26 Ints
but it's the defense...

At least Orton is coachable and plays within the system and himself effectively, not turning the ball over so much.

Cutler is one of those guys who has all the talent in the world, but will never be what he could be because of his attitude.

Without necessarily trying to imply an equal level of talent, Cutler reminds me of a young Favre. He needs to get hooked up with a Holmgren who can teach him how to manage a game a little rather than just go slinging the ball all over the place.
