Hilarious.

Favre is #2...great year...but since that team has Jared Allen and Adrian Peterson...two super super super IMPACT players...it would have taken 14-2 and not losing to the Cardinals/Panthers and Bears the way they did at the end of the season for me to put him above Manning.

When they were 11-1 I had him as my MVP and almost even put a bet on him winning MVP when the futures odds were 2:1...

The Colts ARE Peyton Manning...he won so many games in the 4th quarter this year...he was super super clutch.

Peyton Manning will win the MVP...so it's just not me with that opinion.

manning had what 4 come from behind and Brett 3? 4 if peterson does not fumble it away against the Bears.

Well don't be surpised if it ends up being Peyton and Favre.

Did you not watch the Vikings this year? Peterson almost never ever had an impact this season. I love AP, but he had a bad year for himself and was benched a few times throughout the season to Chester Taylor.

But there were at least two games both Losses that manning did not help his team at all. Not his fault I know but-he only played 14 games and had 16 picks in those games.

Favre lost key games down the stretch...looked like the normal Brett Favre against the Cardinals and Panthers...that dropped him to #2 in my opinion...

The Packers were 25:1 to win the Super Bowl at the beginning of the week and now 16:1...

Wish I would have hopped on when I wanted to...

I think out of all the NFC teams...the team I CAN'T see getting to the Super Bowl is the Saints and they are the #1 seed...

That defense reminds me of the 2003 Chiefs defense...they were getting all sorts of turnovers to start the year...then offenses figured them out...and then they were a major, major, major liability and eventually cost the Chiefs a shot at a Super Bowl....

Same thing with the Saints this year...1 and done.

you're referencing the two games they rested all of their players in?!

Haha...

Dude Manning is going to win it...get over it. He was the MVP.

I dont think mangina deserves it.

So Favre didn't deserve it in 97? He threw 16 picks that year.

Hootie 01-08-2010 06:02 PM

they were a passing team with a 1500 yard running back who scored 18 teams...I agree.

Halfcan 01-08-2010 06:02 PM

rivers was much better than mangina in my opinion

They could not ever run to set up the pass. They had to pass to set up the run. Peterson often could not find the hole in time and was usually stuffed for no gain or loss when they ran. Then Favre would bail them out with a 3rd down pass.

Hootie 01-08-2010 06:03 PM

I really think the winner of the Cards/Packers game or the Cowboys represent the NFC...I don't have any faith in the Saints...and I really don't have a lot of faith in postseason Favre.

Adrian Peterson didn't have an impact this year?

5th in the league in rushing, 1st in rushing TD's.

Agree.

I think 1/2 both are one-and-done.
