Rumor at the combine is that the Chiefs are going to be big players for Darren Sproles.

I think he'd be pretty perfect in the Kevin Faulk/Return man role here. I know we need a big goalline back, but we could still carry 3 RBs each gameday because of Sproles versitility.

That would not suck.

Suspect hands??

WTF

OU fan here bro. He has had some easy drops. Of course Tony G had those his first year in KC and corrected it , but I'm not seeing Pro Bowl in his future.

That explains the Bradford hype.

I've seen Gresham play several games, and in every one, he was the best natural receiver on your team. I think most scouts are praising his hands rather than listing them as a detriment.

Agree with Hamas. Every game I ever saw Gresham play the dude was a monster. Maybe he just plays up/down to the competition he's going against, which would make him a natural selection for the Chiefs.

I think Gresham has a great future in the NFL, but I just can't see spending a high pick on a TE.

If we do go after a TE (after the waste of picks on one last year), I rather see us go after Jimmy Graham in the later rounds.

Ran a pretty decent 40, has good hands, and can be an effective blocker.

I'd be pretty nonplussed about the pick, but we could do worse. That said, I just want us to stockpile assets by getting good players.

Yeah, I've watched a lot of OU games so I know who is legit and who it over hyped. Bradford and McCoy are studs, Gresham and Williams are more then likely to disappoint if they are round 1 or high round 2 picks IMO.

That's extremely weird that the OU fan doesn't like Gresham.

He had some drops that people forget when you are putting up 50 a game. Honestly I thought Coffman and Pettigrew were better college tightends then Gresham. I might spend a 3rd on him.

Mecca 02-27-2010 07:53 PM

That's insane the guy would have been a top 15 pick and gone ahead of Pettigrew last year and Chase Coffman couldn't even get on the damn field.

Did anyone hear Mayock refer to Charlie Weis's shirt as a tent?

Gresham ran a 4.73, which is decent but not that good. Doubt it causes him to drop to our 2a.

Be aware, the NFL may not look at Dickerson as a TE, they had him playing WR at the senior bowl. He is a tweener with no real position, probably an H-Back type.

Even at Pitt they changed his position 3 times before they got production out of his talent.

Ok, question, remember when Greg Hardy was thought of as a pass rusher that might be able to play standing?

At the senior bowl dude was 279 which was heavy for him shows up at the combine...281.

What does he want to be a 6'5 300lb 3-4 end now?

Maybe he wants to be Julias Peppers.
