Progress = Win.
If Jax can beat the Colts, KC should be able to beat them. |
We will win. The stars are aligned and the weejee board says "Romeo got mojo and Manning's a mofo".

Progress?
A win. That's it. John Mason: Are you sure you're ready for this? Stanley Goodspeed: I'll do my best. John Mason: Your "best"?! Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and **** the prom queen. |
Progress. Compared to what? Going 2-28? Since then they are 7-7, have won 4 straight, and are 3-0. I think progress has been established. Think big. Winning is not out of the question. But Charles needs more carries and Cassel sucks.

I put in for the win category. To really impress me, IMO - they need to find a way to win. Though I'm not going to be crushed by a stat fest impressive game and still come away with a loss.

A win on the road against a contender. That would remove what's left of my lingering skepticism.

We go 3-0 and suddenly people think we can't lose.

FTR, the Colts haven't beaten the Chiefs consistently so much as the Chiefs have beaten themselves with piss poor coaching or no defense.
The Chiefs were nothing more than pretenders under Marty, and even less since. |

Above and beyond everything else, Id like to see Cassel step up...on the road, against a quality opponent, that will surely be close to selling out to stop our running attack.
He should have multiple opportunities to strike with mid-range passing and not just with Moeaki (who should have a good game, he is VERY good at finding the soft spot against cover2) he should have chances to make plays in the air and we will surely need him to. This will be the kind of game (similar to playoff games) that we will need the quarterback to make plays to win, even if just a few. If Cassel can hit em a couple times past 20-25 yards in the air and another 3-4 times between 10-20 yards in the air, we will have a very good chance at coming out with another "W" |
I guess real progress would be taking a knee in Indy for the win with Peyton on the 'effing sideline watching.
