As I've gotten older, this has shifted over into the parenting realm. We have a large group of friends, most with kids. Some of the parents still smoke when we get together socially (though they don't want their kids to know). So this group of smokers are constantly sneaking off outside to smoke cigarettes, leaving the rest of us inside to watch their ****ing kids and run cover for them when they kids come asking where their parents are. They'll disappear for 20 minutes at a time.

I flipped the hell out on them the other night. Everyone was at my house. There were about 20 kids running around inside. I'm trying to get dinner ready, and all the other ****ing adults scrammed outside to smoke. On top of that, some dumb twunt (a smoker) started preheating the oven for some shitty casserole she wanted to throw in, not realizing that my pork loin was resting in there, wrapped in foil.

I came barreling out of the house and unloaded with both barrels. "Alright, folks. I'm coooking you dinner already. I'm not babysitting your kids, too. Plus, you almost ****ed up my pork loin, and that's a crime I won't forgive."

For some reason, people were walking on eggshells around me the rest of the night.

back when them smokes mellowed everyone, includin the kids.

Then no one gave a shit.:thumb:

Being an asshole dick or whatever shouldn't mean shit to yourself. I do what I got to do to be happy and serve God.

● Had enough money in the past year to meet essential needs, including adequate food and medical care. [/B]

Responding to this items in order.

Well if a person receives HUD or rents a subsidized apartment those things are required except for cable and or satellite. Cable and satellite TV being included is a way for landlords to get people to choose thier facility over others.

If you don't have a kitchen how are you going to ever make any food or keep anything to eat in your home. Having a operable kitchen saves money and is healthier than eating out every meal.

Of course they had adequate food they get food stamps. People on SS or disability don't pay for healthcare. The others just don't pay for the bills so sure they get adequate medical care.

OK so being poor isn't so bad then, right?

That that list was kind of stupid and pointless.
Because most of those things are requirements before someone receiving HUD or subsidized assistance can even rent a place.

a big pair of hairy balls that woman has.....

Gilbert Grapes' mama, as listed above just called me as soon as I walked in the door from work(in tow of 3 kids). She proceeded to introduce herself, told me that since the other guy who was there saturday unloaded their stuff and carried it upstairs, wondered if I'd just run over and carry a tv downstairs(it's one of the big heavy 42" older flatscreens)....

"No, I'm busy"....
"doing what"......
"my own stuff, working 22hrs the first 2 days of the week, watching my kids, making dinner, work, repairing my own home, community involvement, mowing our yards....."
"well..when can you..who would come and do it"
"don't know"
"you're not going to tell me who could do it? Our daughter and my husband can't do it"
"It's an old TV,and it's not my problem"
"hrmffffffffff"

Gilbert Grape's mother didn't either know, or acknowledge that I'd spent 2hrs in 100 degree heat unloading an F'ing Uhaul van truck and packing that shit upstairs.

Seriously, I can't believe the gall. Bitch should be baking you a pie every day of the week.

Iowanian 07-19-2011 04:28 PM

I wouldn't eat it.

This past summer I've been "Switching weeks" mowing with one of the other neighbors, but I'm thinking very hard right now about being done.

Charity is a good thing, but holy shit the nerve of some people. They are definitely testing every last fiber in my ability to not "go Iowanian" on them.

I think the wrinkled old husband doesn't even know what he's like but deep down is getting by....maybe beaten down by that jabbathehutt, ungreatful bag of bacon grease.

Sonna bitch.

She might make them, they just never make it past her table.

Wow. That's the point where I'd tell her that her and her sow offspring should lose some weight so they can take care of their own shit.
