No big loss folks.

Good. Maybe he'll end up in San Diego. I can live with San Diego only winning the division 4 or 5 times over the next 17 years.

You are an idiot. Fisher and Rivers is a recipe for multiple division championships.

When McNair was in his prime the Titans were a dominant team.

When the Raiders play the Chargers
The Raider fans will be stabbing the Charger fans
While Fisher's players will be stabbing the Raider players

Fisher only had consistent QB play one time in his tenure.

During that time the Titans were one of the best teams in the AFC.

They had like a 5 year run of being very good. The rest of the time was a bunch of 8-8 and worse. One year, he did very well in the playoffs, the rest of the time is was a big disappointment. Haven't you seen enough one and done playoff teams here?

During that time the Titans pulled off a miracle kick return for TD to make Fisher appear more competant than he actually is

If there's a coach out there who likes the Chiefs' ownership and quarterback situation, I've got some beachfront property in Arizona I'd like to show him.

Liking the Chiefs ownership and QB situation should be immediate grounds for disqualification from consideration for the job.

Chiefs Pantalones 12-22-2011 07:35 PM

I'm not upset at this, but I wouldn't believe Jack Harry or any of his "sources."

Chiefnj2 12-22-2011 07:38 PM

By not being impressed with ownership, I presume he would be speaking about being 30 mil under the cap each year. Otherwise, Hunt really isn't active with the team.

Most decent coaches not named Belichick are in the .500 range in the playoffs. Not sure how I feel about that argument. You hear it a lot by fans across the board. You get in the playoffs, and 11 of the 12 teams are going to pick up a loss. That's true whether we're talking about Fisher, Billick, any of these guys who have coached any length of time. You take away the Titans Super Bowl run, Fisher's playoff record doesn't look so good. You take away Billick's Super Bowl year, his record isn't good. You take away Shanahan's two great years with Elway and his record is terrible. None of these guys are close to Marty's 5-13 playoff record though.

But that's how it is, this places makes so many excuses for winning sometimes, it's a joke. The majority of coaches who have had success the last 15 years got lucky. Fisher, Dungy, Cowher, Billick. Whether it was a miracle play, lucking into a 6th round QB, etc, etc. Although that's probably true to a point, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
