So it sounds like the plan really was to draft Floyd at 11, and Poe with our second 1st... wow. I wonder if we will consider 2 2nd's or try and retain him

Just not buying this. It would be stupid of the Chiefs, but that part of the story I could believe. What I don't believe is that one of the other NFL teams wouldn't be happy to fleece the Chiefs if they were really offering this.

If you believe the rumor, then you believe that no team in the league thought Bowe is worth a 1st round pick.


You guys really believe that 31 other teams don't think Bowe is worth a 1st?

I doubt he was offered to all 31 teams, only where we wanted a player. Probably only one team. I don't understand how it would leak out though.

The tweet said that nobody offered a 1st. That means multiple teams were in discussion.

And I don't believe any team would refuse giving a first for a WR with 1000+ yards in his first 4 out of 5 seasons.
