THIS. People always forget this about Nash. He makes his teammates better and he can shoot daggers from anywhere on the court. However, he is the worst defensive player I have ever seen. On defense, the Suns were basically playing 4 on 5 when playing against a penetrating PG.
Considering Nash could have just signed with the Lakers as a FA on the 11th and Phoenix will get nothing. I would have preferred that they shipped some of their dead weight to LA, but I think the only pick of value will be that 2015 1st rounder which will probably be when age catches up to LA and the pick ends up in the teens.

I am happy with the Suns signing Dragic. He should have never been traded way in the first place.

I was talking about their acquisition of draft picks to supposedly get Dwight Howard and Deron Williams.

I guess they can still make the Howard trade, since the NBA is weird that way. And with DWill and Howard combined with some of those supporting scorers, the Rockets would absolutely be able to contend with the Thunder and the Lakers in the conference.

It would be very similar.

The Magic/Kareem Lakers were declining as a power but had 2 of the top 25 players in NBA history on their roster. As they faced off against the Bulls with Jordan and Pippin, they were being challenged by a younger team that also had 2 of the top 50 players in NBA history on its roster.

Granted, there's no Jordan here, but there's greater overall talent when you go roster to roster. Kobe/Nash/Howard/Bynum would probably kick the piss out of the early 90s Lakers and the James/Wade/Bosh Heat (now that James has evidently pulled his head from his ass) would be able to run with that Bulls squad.

Wow. If you think Sessions got abused by Westbrook, it's going to be 10X worse with Nash attempting to defend him. And if you switch, I don't think Nash is capable of staying with Harden either.

Those Thunder loses were awful in terms of PG play. 33 points and 17 assists in 4 games is dog shit.
