Dude, I have 2 friends (one that used to be very well connected at Iowa before he retired) and one guy I met during an install "that works for the Chiefs" that give me information...I also have a handful of people that give me little tidbits that they clearly say are rumors.

If someone clearly says what they are passing on is "a rumor"...why is it in the least bit "uncool" to say you don't believe it?

If I had posted this as rumor, I wouldn't have any problem with those that chose not to take it to the bank to get it cashed.

Thats the way it goes here. You post some "inside" information and try to be nice and share it and then on cue some decide to attack you personally.

To me, something just doesn't add up.

If he has a handshake deal with a guy like Pioli, I can't imagine he would have missed camp.

If Pioli is just franchising him in an attempt to make him "prove himself" to earn a long term deal...him missing camp would obviously be strike one in that attempt.

Especially with a new oc coming in and Bowe being the 4th highest tenured veteran in the lockerroom.

Maybe it is being distorted by the telephone effect: The Chiefs told Bowe last offseason that they wanted two years of proof and if he provided it, they would offer him a four year extension at that time.
