Any ranking on CBs puts Flowers near the top of the list. Flowers is a far superior open field tackler and in coverage. Flowers is better against other teams #1s than Carr is against other teams #2s. I wish Carr was still here but I don't think it's that big of a loss.

This hiding injuries BS doesn't give the Chiefs any competitive advantage, all it does is piss off the fans.

The day Chris Kuper got injured the fans were told immediately that he would be out until week 3, same with Hunter but we were told that he would be out 4 months.

The teams playing against those players know that they don’t have to prepare for them. The Falcons have to prepare for Flowers.

Well, you dumbshit, Kuper's injury is specific, a broken arm.

Sprains are not.

Troll.

O.city 08-20-2012 02:05 PM

We don't even know if it is a sprain or what it is.

Hint: his number wasn't 24.

I just wish we could have both.

Maybe Flowers is just kind of a baby. Seems to always be "hurt" but when it comes time to play he ends up playing.

Yeah, the fact that noone is saying what the injury is has me concerned.

The Chiefs will have to release whether or not Flowers is probable, questionable, doubtful, or out, 4 or 5 days before the game starts. And I highly doubt Flowers would play if he doesn't practice a week before the game starts.

I don't see how hiding this helps the Chiefs at all. All it does is make the injury seem more and more severe.

Better in coverage, better hands, better tackler, and better in run support... What am I missing? Aside from being injury prone..

Gonzales did the same stuff.

O.city 08-20-2012 02:14 PM

Hopefully, it's just something minor that they dont want getting worse, so they are just shutting it down until next week.

It's situations like these that make people question the silent nature of the Chiefs front office BS.

I know it doesn't matter, but the fans deserve to know something.

I hear these myths all the time. Flowers was a better tackler. He was not as good in coverage. Carr was faster. Carr went against the #1s just as much as Flowers and they all move around nowadays. Flowers peaked long ago and Carr hasn't peaked yet. That's why he got so much money. After this year, I doubt there will even be an argument anymore. Flowers is a really good cornerback but he's not in the top 10. If you go back and read the play by plays, he gets targeted alot at the end of games.
