Flacco is in no way, elite. did he turn it on at the right time against shitty secondary play? Yes. same thing Smith did against the Saints

I don't wonder about his competitiveness or competence. I'll have to judge his competence fully after he's promoted after Ozzie but based on what I've read and the interviews I've seen, he seems competent.

I think there's a difference between an elite qb in this league, and elite QB play in crunch time in the playoffs when it matters. While there may only be a handful of elite guys at the position, there's more than a handful of guys that have the ability to turn it on when it matters.

that's the difference between Alex and Cassel.
