That is creepy and weird.

All of their moves do not indicated OT at #1. It indicates that they really want to trade down.

However, there are no indications that a trade down is even possible.

I'm sure there are some comparable highlights of Alex Smith from college.

Boo ****ing hoo.

And just to let you know, I'm a big Alex Smith fan going back to his college days. He's pretty athletic, accurate and very smart. He protects the ball well in the passing game.

However, he has limited arm strength that doesn't allow him to take the top off the defense and throw the receiver open.

He's the same guy as Sam Bradford. That's it. And he's most likely maxed out, i.e., what you saw in 2012 from Alex Smith is as good as it's ever going to get.

Geno has the ability to rip off 45 yarders into double coverage and put it right into his receivers hands. He does it regularly. With pressure. Alex Smith cannot make those throws. He doesn't make those throws. He's a dink and dunk game manager. Period.

And he doesn't make many bad throws whatsoever. All of his passes from 2012 are on YouTube. Go watch the complete games from the entire season. Geno does as good a job protecting the ball in the passing game as I've ever seen anyone do at the college level.

Can we just put this Geno stuff to bed? It's a done deal.

The Chiefs have made their evaluation of him. They don't think he's worth #1. There's a lot of fans here who do. Or think it's worth the risk.

Now we just sit back and find out over the next few years.

Where have you been? We've already had it.

...Reid said, giggling to himself.

They have made offseason moves that have left an starting spot at OT open in a draft where offensive line is supposedly one of the strongest positions.

They have traded 2 draft picks for a starting QB and spent 3 million for a backup QB. They have signed 2 cornerbacks and a wide receiver.

Will they trade down ... maybe, i imagine any team in the top 5 would consider trading down in this draft.

But their personnel moves indicate a OT at #1, unless you think they are drafting a MLB at 1.

Are we in for a potential 3rd geno induced CP meltdown come draft day after they pass on him?!?!?!

Inevitable

He's just trying to drive the trade down price up.

When the Eagles leapfrog the Jags for Geno what do you do then?

I don't get the Geno to Eagles theory. He doesn't really fit Chip Kelly's offense.

As it stands right now (unless they trade him)....they have a hole at RT. They now have an OG/OT in Geoff Schwartz who has played RT before but will probably take over at OG. Allen played both LT and RT in college. TBG's source also stated that they view Allen as a RT.

What they have done is basically filled almost all of their needs so that they can go BPA. It's all going to come down to Reid and Dorsey though. They may view Geno as BPA....they may not.

And the picks/money they spent on QB already still do not eliminate Geno. The numbers have already been posted....but all 3 QBs would only cost them $14 million.

I believe those are Geno's unofficial stats. Combine stars are almost always worse.
