Been there with the OP.
I would live and die with every play during the 1990's. In fact, I don't remember the last time I did not watch or listen to a game live. Maybe 2004.
Then came my realization. A loss should not ruin my Monday. I was losing 3.5 hours every sunday when I had things to do. Mostly school work. I can spend an entire day correcting papers and getting ready for the next week. Also, with the time between plays, I can get one or two short papers in the grade book and not miss the game.
Came back around during the Vermeil era but still worked during the game.
And then Herm. Boy could he get your hopes up. He blew more first half leads than I could count. I swear he led most games into halftime and lost them. MAKE A ********* adjustment!!!!!
Haley-not only did he lose, HE LOST BIG!!!!
I love the chiefs. Not as die hard as I once was. Ditto on the disappointments. Been there-done that. I watch, I get happy, I get let down.
Come to the relaxed side everyone. It makes you live longer. It is a game.
