Broncos vs Patriots
49ers vs Seahawks

It is disgusting the way the league rigged things so that the best 4 teams are the only 4 still remaining.

Two teams with great QBs and two teams with great defenses--the only way this happens is if it is rigged.

That would depend on what you're basing best on because both of those great defenses gave up 27 and 34 points and lost to Luck and the Colts and one of those great qb's was beaten head to head by Luck and the Colts and all of that happened in a five week period.

People don't really believe that these games are rigged, right?

I'll say this one more time,I do not believe entire games are rigged, however,I do believe point shaving and the like has gone on in certain games be it by a ref, player or even a coach to help tilt the lines and/or over unders in the favor of Vegas or to favor future match-ups which ultimately result in more advertising revenue and bigger profits for all involved.

Okay.

PHILADELPHIA -- A federal judge has preliminarily rejected a $765 million settlement of NFL concussion claims, fearing the sum may not be enough to cover injured players.

U.S. District Judge Anita Brody has asked for more financial details from the parties, a week after players' lawyers filed a lengthy payout plan.

Brody, in her ruling Tuesday, notes that the plan is designed to cover nearly 20,000 men for 65 years.

She says she is mostly concerned that not all retired players who are someday diagnosed with related brain injuries will be paid.

The proposed awards would reach $5 million for athletes with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig's disease; $4 million for a death involving brain trauma; and $3 million for dementia cases.

Incorrect. Some people, a lot of them actually, do believe it.

This ruling will just not go away.

I'm really not sure what the big difference is between the "entire" game being rigged or just part of it.

The main point of contention on this issue has been whether the league is rigging the games to achieve a desired outcome/desired matchup. They would of course have to do that through orders to the refs, players, and/or coaches. I thought you were in the camp that believes that, but maybe that's not the case.

The gambling community (which many NFL owners have direct ties to) influences games more than you want to admit.

It's not an all or nothing thing. Sports are influenced and rigged ALL THE TIME in this country. Are you new here?

Lots of people have "ties" to lots of things. So an NFL owner told the refs/his players/his coach to do something--lose a game, shave points--in order to do a favor for his "gambling community" buddy?

Its a nice story, but show me the last time an NFL owner was implicated in something like that.
