I remember a kid that played for Shawnee Mission East. He wore black converse high tops. This is when everyone wore white shoes. Creatively, we would chant "we want black shoes, we want black shoes." Thankfully, he did not come into the stands and confront us. This was the extent of our bad fan behavior. Yes, I am old.

Yep. Absolutely this.

This asshole fan is notorious for saying shit to players and one finally pushed him back.

I'm not going to throw the book at a 20 year old college kid and just let the behavior of a 50 some year old slide.

One of my best buddies here in Norman is black. Name is patrick. He calls big dirty white money making change for the poor folks. And I call him p diddy sugar snack. Onw.of the greatest people you would ever meet.

Even he say marcus smart was stupid and offensive to his race regardless of what was said.

Said there is a a difference between a black person and a n word. Also there is a difference between a white person and a white trash cracka.

We just hung up fron discussing it.

Assholes like this definitely shouldn't have the right to say whatever the hell they want to these athletes (and I think we've all heard some really ugly shit at college games over the years).

Exactly. You've realized it over time or was raised well to realize it, but that just doesn't happen as often as we'd like in the black communities because it's acceptable, encouraged, and easy to be ignorant. That's all. I wish it would change, but we'll see.
