He's not a bad QB. He's average.

Reid utilizes him wrong. He shouldn't be putting the ball up 44 times a game.

The RBs should be getting 15 more carries a game collectively.

Alex Smith is limited.

He hasnt, he got schooled by ancient ass James Harrison twice... hate that feeling that I've been had like this, the Chiefs are like buying my first $50 bag of weed in high school... expecting big things, a world of wonder... and I got three fingers worth of oregano instead.

Harrison is still a good player, but yeah. I feel ya. I wouldn't feel as bad about Fisher if he wasn't.....a #1 overall pick.....:banghead:

ThaVirus 12-21-2014 06:43 PM

Yeah, I'm not sure you could say a guy that's averaging over 5 YPC this season and something like 5.5 over a 6 year career isn't good at doing something.

Jamaal is great between the tackles, he's great outside the tackles.

lcarus 12-21-2014 06:46 PM

Jamaal is injury prone I guess, but he's tough and always fights through them when he can. Plus he's taken some absolutely ugly looking shots this year.

Did everyone just see that last graphic on the raiders game?

We have the same record as HOUSTON LMAO... **** this team, seriously **** them... if they're no better than them then they should just all go home.

Houston.

The Houston Texans.

The Houston Texans are just as good as the Kansas City Chiefs.

It was a weak draft. I don't feel like the Chiefs passed on any truly great players.

My main problem with it right now is that they let Albert walk to go with a lesser player.

Yep, deal is he might be like Robert Gallery in that he will NEVER be even an adequate LT in the NFL. If you remember he too played RT at first and was AWFUL. They moved him to LT, the position he was drafted to play, and he was even WORSE. It was obvious after 3 seasons that he would never be able to play either side in the NFL. So, Oakland moved him to LG where they actually got some pretty decent years out of him. Deal is, I'm not sure Fish has what it takes to play Guard. He might indeed be a TOTAL BUST. Last year he couldn't participate 100% in the off season strength & conditioning program because of his surgeries. I'm curious to see how he plays after finally getting a whole off season worth of work in... If he's not cutting it, I'm working on a plan B. In fact, if I'm Dorsey and Reid, I'm doing that now. NOBODY on the OL should be set at their position - the OL is THAT bad. :shake:

Yep. I honestly wanted them to trade down, but with such a lack of any major game changing players available early in that draft class, it was apparently something they couldn't get done.

GloryDayz 12-21-2014 07:23 PM

Very good write-up. I'm sure the Chiefs shall have you shot someday!

.. And they've got Romeo Crennel and Kendrick Lewis.

Let that sink in for a moment.

I think they agree. At one of this off season's Hunt-sponsored beach galas, I expect them to announce a "five year plan" that should put the Chiefs in the SB by 2020.

The Hunts will agree with the bold new plan.

I don't get what you're getting at here. They've been to the playoffs a couple times this decade and actually won games both times, which is better than most of the NFL. They're only a couple years removed from competing for the #1 seed. They just had a down year last year. But they've been .500 or better for most of the last 6-7 years.

ROFL Okay, that shit's hilarious.

So while Smith isn't all-world, if he always has to scramble 2 seconds after getting the ball then WTF?

However I do think he holds the ball too much at times.

NO, NO, NO, NO NO....we are not having that shit today.

Did you see how Big Ben Burger had mother****ers all up in his grill in the red zone, and promptly swung his balls across their face for a TD?

That's what a legit QB can do in this league.

It means that a team with a rookie head coach, playing three different dogshit QB's, their first year in a new system on both sides of the ball, a team that SHOULD be far behind the curve compared to this teams development... has the same record as we do.

There isnt much there to get man... a far less entrenched and talented team has equaled our record, its a damn embarrassment of the highest order... those guys have juggled a bunch of bullshit at QB and have still managed to equal the record of this team that has a "stable franchise guy".

There is no spin that excuses anything with the Chiefs... they have UNDERPERFORMED when you factor in "talent" and all of the money spent on big name coaches.

MahiMike 12-21-2014 07:43 PM

"Jamaal Charles may be the best running back in Chiefs history. But he is not a big game player, and is not a clutch player."

True. I said the same about Bowe. I blame both of those guys for today's must-win as well as the playoff game.

When your star RB and 'star' WR can't win a game for you when you need it, your team just isn't good enough.
