Courtney Patton is a great song writer.

Jamie Lin Wilson is another I find talented.

As far as female performers go, Kylie Rae Harris is one of the better ones out there IMO.

Ryan Bingham has some decent tracks out there if you like his sound. I can see how some wouldn't, but I like it. I can't put it on repeat like some other artists, but he has some good stuff.

I can only assume you have all heard the new Turnpike Album?
It's debut at #3 on the big boy charts.

I realize this isn't Red Dirt music but Eric Church's new album Mr. Misunderstood is very legit. It's much different than his other stuff. Very blues/country feel to it. More stripped down. I can't stop listening to the entire album.

Not sure if this is the red dirt scene, but it's definitely not Nashville.

Pretty good tune here.

I don't know if it falls into this thread or not, but the S.O.B. song entertains me by Nathanial Rateliff and the Night Sweats.

I was a pretty big ragweed fan for a long time, but they broke up years ago.

Cody Canada did some solo stuff and now is with Cody Canada and The Departed.

I am sorry to report that after having listened to the new stirgil Simpson album...I don't get it. I don't like it at all and it pains me to say that.
