He only missed 4 tackles all year and was the highest graded run defender at OLB and it would be unfair if he doesn't make the top ten.

IMO he should be in the top 5.

On to Kelce...

Kelce should fit in between 40-60. Based on just his receiving numbers in 2014, which ranked 5th at TE with 862 yards, being ranked that high is probably just being a Chiefs homer....but then you have to figure in a few factors.

1. He didn't start the whole year because he was still recovering from knee surgery.
2. He was the highest graded run blocking tight end.
3. The team adding speed on the outside should open up chunk plays for Kelce going forward.

He should be the 3rd tight end on the list.

There's a good chance Kelce will be listed this year and 40-60 isn't out of the question.

Remember, this list is supposed to be a ranking of players heading into 2015. So really it's more of a projection than a ranking based off the previous year, although that's the strongest indicator of where a player should be...

All of the other TEs that are likely to be listed have pretty much peaked. Kelce's arrow is pointed wayyyyyyy up (I feel like I said that in this thread already).

There are a lot of things that go into it, IMO.

East coast bias is certainly one of them.

The fantasy era is another. McCoy gets a shit ton of carries each year. So even though his YPC average is just OK, he tends to end up with a lot of yards. Jamaal will often end up with less yardage but is almost always more effective.

Strangely, people don't tend to value TDs as much as I thought they would. No skill position player has more TDs over the past two seasons than Jamaal (what a ****ing beast). Taking the year 2013 for both, McCoy had 1600 yards and something like 11 TDs while Jamaal had 1300 yards and 19 TDs in only 15 games. McCoy was crowned the rushing champion and most would have listed their best RBs as 1. Peterson, 2. McCoy and then 3. Charles. Buuuuullshit.

Another thing is McCoy's running style. He's a complete East-West guy, which is why Chip gave his ass the boot. He dances and fiddles around with his dick in the backfield hoping for a 40 yard gain on every play instead of lurching forward and taking what's given. It's not the most effective style but it is flashy and people see him juke 3 guys out of their shoes in one play and don't give a shit that he only gained 2 yards. Meanwhile, Jamaal's rocking the highest YPC average in league history (for RBs- let me clarify before that idiot Just Passin' By comes in here arguing with me about it) because he runs intelligently (most of the time) and never stops moving forward.

Damn, I just spent a shit ton of time on this post. The point I'm trying to make is JC>>>>>>>that bum Lesean McCoy.

How the **** is Peterson on this list when he only played in one game last season?

I assume it's because players don't pay attention to the ground rules. He was one of the worst players in the league last year based on production.

I'm thinking he'll crack the Top 10. This is his second season of 20+ sacks, plus he started to become a weapon on offense.

Houston will be the next front 7 player - ranked somewhere around 15-20.

Houston top 10.

Anyone saying that Houston won't be in the top 15 is an absolute idiot (Prison Bitch, but we already knew that). The guy almost broke the single season sack record and was the 2nd best defensive player in the league. There weren't really any monster offensive numbers put up either, so top 6 wouldn't shock me.

Apparently he's no Russell Wilson, who came in at #22.

BigMeatballDave 06-25-2015 08:09 AM

Wow. Houston at 27 is a travesty.

Wilson should probably be higher 22.

BigMeatballDave 06-25-2015 08:11 AM

24. Ndamukong Suh
23. Joe Haden

IowaChiefs83 06-25-2015 08:34 AM

Why is there no video for Justin Houston?

Three7s 06-25-2015 09:58 AM

This means Charles is going to be ranked lower than Houston? Didn't see that coming.
