I think the truth hurts for Maclin. He is a piece of meat on the field and no one will care if he gets brain damaged or injured. Fans aren't going do crap for him if he is injured, they will just cheer for the next fast guy that wears the same laundry as him.

823 yards and 1 TD.

Marlin is right about one thing in all of this.....it is about what the team does on the field.

Marlin was 6 years old the last time a Chiefs fan saw a win in a post season football game. He is right, it is about production on the field. My wife's 97 year old grandmother had exactly the same number of touchdown receptions in 2014 as any professional wide receiver playing in Kansas City. As far as I am concerned marlin can shut his ****ing mouth until he gets into the endzone in a Chiefs helmet during a regular season game.

Hate fantasy football all you want but there has been a decade of football for Chiefs fans where it was the only reason to watch the steaming shit we paid to see on the field.

Maybe he wasn't watching football when we were suffering through Todd Collins and Tyler thigpin. There are 6-8 games a week no one outside of their maerkers would watch without a rooting FFB interest.

As far as comments about his salary, he can eat a bag of dick whistles on that, because as fans we do watch the salary cap. We are invested in the tea,s interest longer than MOST of the players, including this one who has been a chief for 5 minutes. You get the big bucks, fans expect you to back it up on the field.

Not a single time have I ever rooted against the Chiefs for FFB reasons, but for the decade we saw them suck, and they were losing anyway, it didn't hurt anything if the shit performing defense gave up another late TD to a RB who happens to be on my team.

I set their lineups and let them play I treat both leagues the same and never worry about either.

Chiefs games are more important.

Some of you ****ers confuse fantasy with real ****ing life.

This.

Anyone who cares more about their fantasy team or is unable to separate the two is a moron...most people I know care MUCH MUCH more about their real teams....and the fantasy teams are just a way to have some fun during the other games

It was, they had to keep increasing my heart medicine. I have an appointment next week to see if they can reduce it now that the stress is gone.

Between Maclin's obvious high character as evidenced in the other thread, and the intense amount of butt hurt he has generated among fantasy-tards, I can easily dub him my new favorite Chief.

Huzzah!

That Marlin is a slippery one....

teedubya 08-30-2015 06:58 PM

It's one of the reasons that I don't play Fantasy Football anymore. I can't stand cheering for players on teams that I can't stand.

Gonzo 08-30-2015 07:07 PM

I just popped a huge boner reading this. Maclin is now my favorite Chief.

Read the other article as well. He's an impressive specimen.

I'm an avid fantasy football fan but I always cheer for the Chiefs first ... a few years back, when the Chiefs were garbage, I was sitting next to a Chiefs fan at a bar while we were watching Chiefs/Chargers and he had Rivers on his team and he kept cheering every time Rivers threw a TD and I was like ... "really, man?"

Cheering for fantasy players over your team when your team is garbage is really no different than wanting to tank for the draft.

Before Reid and Dorsey The Chiefs were so miserable I really can't blame the person. Fantasy football was their only reason to care at that point

Iowanian 08-30-2015 08:20 PM

I wonder is Jeremy marlin would approve of the name of my 14 man FFB team after getting stuck with Marshawn lynch at pick 5. Beast infection.

I am considering. "What would Jeremy marlin do" for the next team.
