They'll find a way to win 6, act like it's a feel good story, keep Reid in town to keep us down another year.

Yep. Win last 5, great momentum heading into 2016 offseason. Just an OT away from competing.

Not really. Fisher, Albert, and Tait are the only "recent" ones and Tait was a while ago. DL with Poe, Jackson, Dorsey, and Sims have actually been picked more recently but everyone rants about OL.

But yet they keep trying...why can we not apply this logic to the QB position?!?!

Because Reid could not wait to have Smith on the chiefs in a weak draft.

another Sports site saying we can get that 1st pick

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/k...ed-goff-101315

Another top overall draft pick could land in Kansas City if their slide continues.
If the season ended today, they would pick seventh. But the team which would hold the top choice -- Detroit -- is only one loss worse than the Chiefs.
The Chiefs and Lions will battle in three weeks' time in London. The loser of that game might have the inside track on picking first in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Other teams currently slated to pick ahead of K.C. include the Saints (2), Texans (3), Jaguars (4), Ravens (5), and 49ers (6).
Should the Chiefs top those teams and claim the No. 1 spot, it'd be the second time they've picked there in four drafts.
