Well i'm glad i could give SEAN KEELER the info for his article.

Eleazar 10-23-2015 02:13 PM

I'm not sure we couldn't trade him. There will certainly be a QB poor team this offseason. Someone traded for Matt Cassel this year.

Is it possible we could basically give him away for a 7th? That a team could have him just for assuming the contract?

(Not that Andy will give up on his guy yet.)

Beef Supreme 10-23-2015 02:14 PM

We can get less of Alex Smith immediately. Just gotta quit watching this shit.

big dead money and/or cap hit if we do anything with him until after 2016

Just draft your young guy and keep Smith around to help for a season, then move on.

Smith can be our Chase Daniel for a year.

June 1st cut next year and we gain $1 million in cap space.

no ... 100k cap space along with 15 million in dead space

makes no sense to not keep him for another year

you being pissed doesn't count

We just need to go get another young QB to develop that can start whenever he's ready.

These three things combined with a crappy QB = pathetic excuse for a professional football team

Too often, this is true... but let me ask you.. how do you think it got to be this way? You think he simply was never a good prospect? or is it far more possible that being behind terrible circumstances for a decade may have finally just broke him?

He is, however, easily the biggest problem on this team.

Now this is a really stupid thing to say. He may be part of the problem at this point... but to put him above a terrible OL is simply shining a light on your hostility over the fact that he can not be the savior of so much fail around him.

another ignorant as **** thing to say. They were a good run blocking team, but dreadful pass blocking bunch.

Two rookies... much better run blockers than pass.. starting at LG and RT.

An old has-been at 33 yrs of age at C.. had minimal mobility left.

Adam Snyder at RG was a complete disaster.

... and all of this for a bunch of guys learning a yr 1 scheme after the coaching lockout.

That OL wasn't bad at pass protecting? LOL... seriously GFY idiot.

RealSNR 10-23-2015 04:39 PM

We have to keep Smith for 2016. What we do with him is up to us, but we gotta keep him around on the roster. We're stuck there.

RealSNR 10-23-2015 04:40 PM

Although I'd gladly take that extraordinary cap hit just to have Sandy Cheeks go the **** away and follow her boyfriend to the Calgary Stampede or wherever the **** it is he plays next.
