I use eggnog instead of cream in my coffee during the holidays. But most of them are made with high fructose corn syrup so I have to read ingredient labels to find the few in the supermarket that don't.

i'll match that w/sprinkling lemon juice and salt on a couple of my beers this afternoon. sec |
I make eggnog for Christmas. I usually age it 3-4 weeks. Not a huge brandy person so I skip brandy and use mainly bourbon with some non-spiced rum, usually Meyers.
Do NOT use raw milk. I enjoy raw milk if I can get it but it gives eggnog an unpleasant Parmesan cheese flavor. My usual practice is to make it Thanksgiving weekend so I will likely do so in the next couple of days. And I don't really care for nutmeg so I leave it off. I add a split vanilla bean. |
my wife make egg nog every year( we have milk cows and shit) and its a long process to get a little buzzed.

That time of year again. Will finish up the last of the aged. Making some more today for next year.

Wife picked this up yesterday. Fairly good and egg nog really isnt my thing. Have to say I liked this much better than what I remember of regular egg nog.

Last of this batch was made 2 years ago! Michael Ruhlman’s recipe says it’ll keep for 3 years or however long you want it to last. |
Nice. Didn't buy any this year.
