Gaines didn't play in the base defense, so no change there.

So basically DJ White just subs in for nickel. I think he'll show out.

There is no way to have such a lop-sided amount unless its deliberate...that's 4 a quarter.
Yeah, I am stronger than ever getting this about the NFL. I watched the first half of the SF/DAL game... saw some ridiculous sh*t calls for DAL, turned the tv off, and took a nap. You can really tell when a game is being pushed for one team. Takes the fun out of it.

Hopefully we will be cheering DJ White's name this game cause that's where Roeth is going with the ball. Don't underestimate Coates and Wheaton..

Play the kind of football that the Chiefs played on their winning streak and it won't matter what the Steelers do.

It will be high-scoring I fear so it's up to Alex to keep pace. If he does, we win. If he gets happy feet or if we turn the ball over a bunch we lose.

That sounds unnecessarily convoluted. Nelson is already the starter and plays nearly 100% of the snaps. I don't care what the depth chart says, because they both are essentially starters, but Nelson isn't replacing Gaines, he'll play exactly where and when he would have even if Gaines was playing. White is taking Gaines' spot.

Although we are still without Houston this is where our defense really gets to show its worth and whether we are capable of a deep playoff run. Defense meets high powered offense. Make us proud boys!
