I clearly remember thinking to myself... "OMG, he chose this play to truly test that knee because he's torquing the hell out of it right now", it might just be that he aggravated something right there Either way, the apparent plan to rest him until it feels good again is the right one... if he is only here for 2016, lets make sure he is able to go out swinging |
An article on NFL.com claimed he had swelling in BOTH knees.

for starters, if he's injured again, it doesn't necessarily have to have happened in a game. he would be practicing thru the week too.
secondly, although not the same thing entirely. after my hand was operated on to tie back together three tendons and other stuffs, it took me five months for my hand NOT to swell even from simply walking too much. so with all the physical activity being done, it would seem to me, this swelling is natural. |

He'll never, ever be the guy he was in 2012. Not happening. He may never be the guy he was in 2015. It's time to stop believing in fairy tales. |
They need trade him and get what they can for him.
RB's (good ones) are only in their prime for a handful of years. It's about that time for Charles. Chiefs have been lucky...going from Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Jamaal Charles, and now the Spencer Ware seems like to be the next big thing in KC. His time has come, let him take the rock and let Ware do his thing. Chiefs will move on without Charles....sucks that his career ended in KC by injury but that can happen in this sport. |
Football is brutal to RBs. I'm honestly amazed these guys can walk when they leave the game.
Let's hope Charles still has something left..... |
