**** the Falcons and their empty trophy case.

I don't see a shootout. For all the talk about Palmer on the decline, dude was throwing dimes all day long last Sunday. Problem was the ATL 2ary was only opening windows the size of a gnat. Alex will have more time to make decisions than in Denver, but won't see anything he likes very quickly.
Best bet is to run Ware into the ground and win the TOP battle. Best luck would be for an early INT to scare Ryan off more ambitious throws. This game won't be tougher than the Denver game, but will be tough in wildly different ways. They play almost the polar opposite of Denver [defense shines in the 2ndary as opposed to pass rush, and the offense slings it early and often to open a cushion], and we have a shorter week after an OT slog at altitude to overcome, not to mention whipsawing as far abroad in travel as KC is capable of geographically. Best bet is a couple quick punches in straight in the mouth early, because another protracted battle is going to wear us out. |
The Falcons have the worst pass d in the league and just list their best corner for the year.

I was just commenting on how they had developed as of up to last Sunday. They were running a suffocating man scheme. Things evolve quickly in the league. As we sit here today, I don't see Alex finding big bay windows in the 2ary this weekend. |
The more time that goes by, the better I feel about this game....
They just can't afford to look this one over because Oakland is only 4 days after. Lock in on the task at hand and I think the Chiefs are the better all around team for sure. |
