Are you sure about that? I assumed that he was cut make a roster spot for Erving.

when I heard this it seemed personal. Maybe they asked him to do something and he refused. Make this change or that change and he refused. So they embrassed him to make an example for the low level players on the team?

No because during practice Ashton Lampkin tore his ACL so I figured Erving would of take his spot.
