A couple of my biggest issues with this guy: I don't believe he makes reads like other QBs. I think he goes into the vast majority of plays with a predetermined target and lives or dies on that target. Here, he's staring down either Kelce or Hill. Once neither is open within two seconds of the snap, he panics and bails on the play. You can even see him look to the left as if he's scanning the field, looks directly at an open DAT and still tucks the ball. What the ****.. He also never displayed any sort of anticipation, not even during his incredible four game run to start the season. On this play he should have seen the defender slipping on the flat route and lobbed a TD up to Hunt. Just really basic shit here and he's missing it.

Honestly, this play is just so bad on so many levels. I can forgive a guy for missing an open guy on one side of the field. Maybe he's last in your progression or something. But I can't forgive him for missing an open receiver on both ****ing sides of the field.

Question: Do the coaches watch film? If so, are they ****ing reeruned?

I'm guessing it goes something like this.

"OK Alex...you had DAT here on the deep route...also had some time to find Kareem on the wheel. Uh...good job avoiding pressure...but next time keep your head up."

"Yup. I see it. We'll hit that this week. Thanks coach."

"OK, next play..."

If you have time to throw this ball to Harris, you got time to hit West. You just had no idea he was going to break open because YOU CAN'T READ DEFENSES.

I don’t mind the pass to Harris. If the ****ing reerun could actually throw him a catchable ball. West would have been faster to the end zone though.
