It's not HIS PLATFORM, its the America platform. America was built on the platform of peaceful protest. People always seem to want Freedom of Expression for things they approve of but not for things they don't.

The NFL is losing out with the younger generations to watching video game competition. Now they are going to continue to piss off us old farts. It is eating itself with this crap. |

I think that the NFL should allow fans to bring bags of tomatoes into the stadium. If someone kneels during the anthem, the fans can pelt him with tomatoes to express their outrage. That would be a funny sight to see. LOL. Marcus Peters takes a knee and gets covered in tomatoes. I would laugh my ass off.

The NBA which is at least 80% black, has had a rule in place since the 1980's requiring that players and coaches stand for the National Anthem.
There are countless other avenues for NFL players to express their support for social justice causes... why mess with the National Anthem? |

Wonder what kind of backlash the NFL was getting. Are they worried about the players walking away or were there enough fans that didn’t like when the league decided to take a political stand. It didn’t sound like I was the first person the ticket office heard a complaint from when I cancelled my season tickets.
