Duhhhh.... I kept telling people. Wade runs an aggressive man defense. Peters is not a great man corner. He got most of his INT's playing OFF in COVER 3 and reading the triangle.

Peters is more Sherman than Revis. He never fit Wade's scheme. IF he was on SF, LAC, or Seattle he'd probably lead the NFL in picks. He's a great playmaker, but a SYSTEM GUY.

How many plays do ANY of you remember Peters making when he was in press coverage? Wade is trying to use him as a shadow shutdown man corner and everyone is SHOCKED he's not playing well?

How much to these guys get paid to not understand things some asshole fan (me) can clearly see?

This might be hard to choke down for some... but Peters was productive because Sutton knew how to utilize him.

Both guys actually play a lot of man. He followed Thomas around most of the game.

The funny part about this is it doesn't matter if he's playing off or jamming at the line. He's getting burnt no matter what.
