Yeah that's nuts even for the interstate in those conditions.

And the number of people I saw out in RWD vehicles with no chains or weight that couldn't get around was pretty silly.

You'd think if it's hard to see you're going too fast ...just sad someone lost their life in this.

I don't think it should be lawful for semi's to be able to drive during any snow precipitation. Too dangerous.

That's a pretty undulating stretch. Imagine drivers being oblivious until they reach the crest played into it.

Aren't truckers all listening on the same channel in situations like this? CBs are still a thing right? If they're all on different channels or don't have some emergency channel that breaks in somehow that seems dumb.

Got a call from a KC institution today wanting me to move there and do a project. Threads like this remind me why I left.

That’s what happens when you have a bunch of graduates from the Debbie Dugan truck driving school

This has been the worst I've experienced and it hasn't been that bad assuming one isn't homeless.

Harden up.

I sent my mom the tweet with the crash video - causing much confusion.

Somehow she discovered that heart-eye emoji and uses it all the time even right after reporting on a death.

You like it 90 degrees and swamp ass?

I only mind the typical short spells where the temps get below 20. Otherwise I like winter more than summer. Anything over 85 and humid in the midwest is just unbearable to me.
