I had the pleasure of talking to Gun on several occasions - believe it or not, at the Price Chopper :) That guy would stand and shoot the shit with the fans as long as they wanted to. He was, in all honesty, a fine gentleman and a people person. Coach - you WILL be missed. |

I think Gun's signature moment was in 1997 against the Bills when he blitzed Todd Collins four straight times from the 10 at the end of the game to secure the win.

He will swear at St. Peter upon entering the gates.... A players' coach who loved the game and built meaningful relationships. He was entertaining for the fans and wanted the best for the Chiefs. |
