Your entire premise was to trade for someone. Even the Chiefs aren't that stupid.

I wanted a vet backup. Didn't think Moore was an option.

I'd have traded a 6th or 7th for one, but this is better.

Shurmur\Litton must suck so bad they had to bring Moore who sucks as well and was out of the NFL.

I appreciate your approach to conducting a draft.

You just...don't. Trade all your picks all the time and just stay home during combine season.

It would give Veach a lot more time to take up guitar or needlepoint or even something like cycling.

I'd generally agree if you're trying to be a contender you probably need one veteran and a young project backup. We're talking about if PM misses a game... but even if Mahomes gets whacked and has to go through concussion protocol for a series or something, you want someone out there you know isn't going to turn into a puddle when he's thrown into actual competition.

I'd only ever have 1-4 round picks.

There's a scenario out there where i'm not a very good GM.

It's not that they're bad. It's that we don't know what they are. Granted you won't know until you find out, but neither have ever taken an NFL regular season snap.

This probably isn't the year to have to find out.

You wouldn't have any 1st or 2nd rounders either. I could see you inadvertently ending up with a 3rd rounder here and there.

You'd also never have any cap space and your team's average age would be 33.

In terms of being a backup, Moore doesn’t really suck that bad at all. This has much more to do with experience than anything.

Speaks reminds me of Dan "Couch Potato" Williams and Ryan "Donut Boy" Sims from years past. He doesn't seem too committed to being all he can be physically. Looks like six months of Golden Corral for his fat ass.

Sassy Squatch 08-26-2019 10:47 AM

Oh well. Roll with Clark, Okafor, Ogbah, and Kpassagnon.

gblowfish 08-26-2019 10:50 AM

Wonder why the Chiefs wouldn't take a flyer on Kaepernick? If he demands to be a starter, nobody's gonna sign him. Andy Reid revived Michael Vick's career in Philly. Seems like Kaepernick would be a good fit with this offense. Too much political baggage?
