Oh I’ve been telling people all week that our D is better than the Ravens.
That D is overrated as **** this year. |
Baltimore only has 35 sacks this year.
That's shocking for a team that's been ahead as much as they have. |

They needed Suggs even more than we did. |
On the topic of first round byes and players sitting out for three weeks (like many Ravens players will be). Rodney Harrison on FNIA says not playing for that long does get you out of your routine a bit and players/teams can definately experience some rust. If I had to guess I'd say young teams like the Ravens would be more susceptible to this than a veteran team like the Patriots. It'll be interesting to see. Obviously our Chiefs dont have to worry about this. Perhaps its another thing Ravens fan should be worried about.

Not sure how two weeks of rest will affect Jackson’s ability to run the ball. He can’t and won’t win with his arm regardless of whether he has two weeks of rest or not. The extra rest could help Ingram though.

Mahomes vs the blitz this year: 121 QB rating, 7 TD, 0 INT

To me, that plays right into our hands. I trust Fisher and Schwartz to negate edge rushers FAR ****ING MORE than I trust Wylie, Reiter, and LDT to contain a dominant DT. We can’t and don’t run up the middle anyway, so their DTs are pretty much negligible against us. |

Ravens didn't stuff the run in the first half of the Jets game. They were getting ripped for big yardage. They are fat and slow.

I think resting for three weeks is a huge mistake, but they might not pay for it against the Texans or Bills.

I’m of the firm opinion that if we can get past NE and to Baltimore in the title game, we will win that matchup. It’s the one that we play off of the bye that will concern me a little more. I think KC pulls it out though barring health issues.
