Yeah, Carr is no Mahomes, but there isn't a QB in the NFL today who can really compare to Mahomes.

I love both WRs the Raiders added in the 3rd. Combined with a TE that is maybe a half step behind Kelce, a stud RB, and a damn good OL, Carr can play like a top 10 QB. Last year he actually had his best year from a yards per attempt and all that crap, and we had dog crap at WR due to our mistake trading for AB and Williams playing hurt all year.

Not enough to threaten KC, but maybe a playoff spot.

Ruggs does not resemble Hill.

With the ball in his hands/running straight line, he has the same type of speed.

It doesn’t show up when he’s running routes. He runs routes at a much slower speed and is not in and out of breaks like Hill.

I’ve seen Santana Moss comparisons. I think that’s a good/better one. That’s a good player.

Ruggs will be a nice vertical #2 WR.

Gonna have to put up points in a big way. I mocked that WR WR thing a few times just for kicks, never imagined it would happen. I was afraid they would miss Cush by doing so, but they got him and that’s nice

They can’t fix it all in one draft, but I’m happy with it so far.

Denver was the rival that had the best draft so far.

Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, Lloyd Cushenberry

Loved all of these guys. If Lock doesn't take a big step this year he never will.

Yeah, they have the weapons. Slot dynamo (Jeudy). Physical X receiver (Sutton). Explosive outside receiver to stretch the field.

Should create room for Fant and the run game. Pair it with Pat Shurmur running the show, and the Denver offense should be productive. No excuse not to (unless their OTs remain a fatal flaw).

We shall see, I think Risener, Glasgow and Cush are a nice interior.

I saw that Hamler had 12 drops on 70 catch attempts last year. That’s a big negative to me. I will say though that they needed a returner/gadget player who can also stretch the field. He was the 3rd best guy to do that in this draft after Ruggs and Reagor.

Cushenberry was easily their biggest value pick. I have no idea wtf happened for an early 2nd rd value to fall to rd 3. I hate that they got him.

They also drafted that interior rusher from Arkansas who was very productive in the SEC on a shitty team. 31 TFL and 16 sacks is the kind of prospect you want to swing at in the late 3rd rd.

Overall their biggest flaw was passing on an OT in this class and staying with Mongo. Josh Jones and Lucas Niang we’re right there and they passed LMAO

They are.

LT is a glaring problem. RT is OK. That’s what I was talking about.

Yeah, they do have the 12th pick in R4, and there are 2-3 tackles that I think warrant consideration. Overall, 5 picks remain, so maybe they bundle up to move up if a guy slips in 4-5.

Mile High Mania 04-25-2020 09:03 AM

Also, worth noting that last year, Den traded down from 10 to 20 in R1 with PIT.

PIT got Devin Bush, DEN got Fant, Lock and Cushenberry.... that looks pretty sweet.

We have two advantges over our division. One is a coaching advantage and the other is QB. Thats the biggest reasons we will win it again.

Don’t forget GM/scouting.

Mecca 04-25-2020 10:07 AM

The Chiefs broke this division, you got 2 teams trying to out score them drafting all offense, you try to out Chiefs the Chiefs you lose.

L.A. Chieffan 04-25-2020 10:12 AM

Raiders are clowns, reaching for basically every pick and taking three WRs with the first four picks?! Lol. White boy safety projected in 6th took in 3rd. Jesus

F+

L.A. Chieffan 04-25-2020 10:15 AM

Denver lucked out with Jeudy, other than that very boring C-

Chargers are almost as bad as the Raiders, if they didn't play in the same division everyone would be roasting their ass. D so far
