The Royals won the World Series, the Chiefs won the Superbowl, and we get to watch a guy who can bounce a football of a facemark while flying horizontally for years to come. Life is still good.

In Veach I trust.

How tf did Mahomes make this throw

I’m more pumped for it, probably a coping mechanism leftover from the pre-Mahomes days. Last year I didn’t give a shit because the Super Bowl high was so good. This time there is a revenge tour to enjoy and it starts by getting this offseason right.

Should be an intriguing with the salary cap question, needing to make improvements, and some new coaches. I think there will be some surprising moves along the way.

I’m interested in seeing how it’ll all fit together.

That pic makes me so sad. How the **** did they waste Mahomes doing literally everything a human can possibly do to keep the team afloat.

With all the holding Tampa was getting away with we needed to make adjustments. Probably start doing max protects. No point in sending all wrs out if they were getting held anyway.

What ruined it for me is the combination of one sided officiating and just how bad our plan was and those timeouts. I still can’t get over those. If not for those I believe we could have won and gotten to say we are so much better that even with gifted points we still beat them.

Since we need to find a new RB coach this offseason I recommend someone and he’s actually Interested in the job. None other than KCs own Charcandrick West

staylor, I'm sure once you go to the gym, do some deadlifts, and then beat up some boomers at an environmental rally, you'll be back to your old self talking football in no time.

(Kidding, buddy. This too shall pass and it would be a pity if any of us really grew tired of watching the Jordan equivalent in his prime.)

I’ll always be excited for the season as long as we have Mahomes, but that’s the kind of loss that makes it hard to get over until TC is starting up and hope is back.

I honestly enjoy the offseason as much as the regular season though. I love the draft and the start of free agency.

The draft in particular is like a constant reminder that we lost. Every time I see a mock draft and that 31st pick I’m going to be sick lol.

Sounds like a front running bandwagon fan.

I know your not, not calling you that, but that’s what it sounds like.

No, I’m just very competitive (which admittedly makes me a sore loser) and losing to Tom Brady just makes this one THAT much worse.

Losing a SB? Sucks, but what are we going to do now in free agency and the draft?

Losing a SB to Tom Brady cementing his legacy? Wake me up in September.

My recommendation is turn off all sports media for awhile. Sister****ers like Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith will just stir it up on you. Get some time away, you'll be back.

Pants 02-08-2021 10:59 PM

Not at all.

We still have a literal god under center.

Sucks we lost a shitty Super Bowl, but, my goodness, I'm a ****ing Chiefs fan who had to live through the 2003 no defense team, the Herm Edwards, Scott Pioli, Todd Haley, and Romeo Crennel years.

I have had to subject myself to watching Damon "Fetal Position" Huard, Brodie "Air" Croyle, Tyler "Skeleton ****er" Thigpen, Matt "Casshole" Cassel, Tyler "Todd Haley's Rebellion" Palko, Kyle "Nobody Wants Me" Orton, and BRADY ****ING QUINN as the starting quarterbacks.

I have had to endure countless shitty drafts that sent me into the depths of despair.

I'm sorry, but being in 3 consecutive AFC championships, hosting 2 of them and making it to back to back Bowls while winning one? I'm happy as a mother****er when I take a step back and look around.

Losing to the Bucs sucked. Losing in the fashion the Chiefs did sucked even worse. Having to hear the ****tarded GOAT takes and Tom Brady for eternity sucks the worst.

Yes, we got worked by the refs, but we also saw Mahomes' godlike heart on full display (and I hope we never see it like this again).

Oh, and we also still have Veach in charge of the roster.

I think maybe there's a little bit of room optimism here.

Competition doesn't make you a sore loser. Narcissism does. Competitors understand in the game of sport, there is a winner and a loser. Sometimes your one or the other, but denying a loss because you don't think that it can happen to you isn't the hallmark of a "competitor" it's the hallmark of a sore loser.

Megatron96 02-09-2021 12:27 AM

No.

But the bitter whining by some CPers just might. There's morons here that are so deluded they think that somehow STs cost us the game. Or that it's the coaching staff's fault that we only signed 10 OLs to the team. Or that Andy trying to get our offense the ball back at the end of the first half somehow lost the game.

Probably the same dumbasses that bemoaned Andy not being aggressive enough a few weeks ago. Probably the same dipshits that never want to see Patrick execute another QB sneak because of a freak accident.

Petty little wretches deserve this loss more than anyone. Just wish they weren't fair-weather fans of the Chiefs, tbh. Let 'em go whine for the Raiders or the Jets. At least they'd have good reason to piss and moan.

You guys have the best QB in football, you'll be fine for two decades. Have fun and enjoy it.
