You're such a ****ing **** that you couldn't even answer the question.

Instead, just downvoted, as usual, because all you do is BITCH and WHINE and act like you've got a ****ing cinder block stuck in your ****.

You need to get that ****ing thing checked.

So what’s the cap going to be next year? 210m?

Dak Prescott reportedly turned down $30 million per year offer, wants $40 million annually

When did he ask for $30 mil a year? Notice the date of that article?

Well, to be fair after reading that article, one of the biggest points was that he hadn't missed a single game, which while true at the time, is obviously not true now. But whatever, not my money, Jerry waited it out and made a good business decision.

IIRC, that was after Wilson and Wentz signed new deals that reset the market. I really can't see where Jerry and Stephen Jones ****ed up too badly here now that I see Wilson was asking 40 million all the way back in the 2019 off season.

I guess you could say even signing Dak to a big money deal in the first place but there's really not very many realistic options and all that talent on offense needs to be utilized while it's still relatively young.

Exactly. They can't start over now at the QB position.

This is a stupid way to do it.

They should have just kept the cap flat.

No one knows at this point because the only new broadcast deal that's been announced was with ESPN and even they denied the figure that leaked.

The NFL is looking to double their Broadcast Rights Fees, which would put their revenue at somewhere around $18 Billion, effectively doubling the salary cap but again, no details have been released.

That number could be tiered as well, meaning the cap would slowly rise over the course of the 10 year deal.

Dak was looking really good before he got hurt.

I don't really see it that way.

By decreasing the cap in 2021, teams can purge their rosters of bad contracts now and start fresh in 2022 with a much higher salary cap moving forward.

Keeping it flat just delays the inevitable.

What else is new?

I think most on here, once we got over the sticker shock, we saw how the $500 million was structured thought it was a helluva deal for the Chiefs and our ability to keep good players around Mahomes. He has good people around him. He will end up being a billionaire.

and this is by far the most interesting free agency person the NFL has had in a long time.

He was 1-3 and should’ve been 0-4. He threw for a ton of empty calorie yards. He’s average at best. Not even a top 10 QB
