No it's not. It's just kind of funny.

Had a buddy telling me one of the worst things for him was something called a dead route? Basically when you pickup someone from a highly busy area like an airport and take them 25-30 miles out to the suburbs. But then, there is little to no business going back. So you have to use your time, mileage and gas to get back to a profitable area.

I thought it was an odd bump as well but didn't really look into it yesterday. Now that I have, the guy definitely has a odd posting history, all in broken English and shows IPs from all over the world. No spamming though, but definitely not here to talk about the Chiefs. No idea wtf he's up to.

Exactly! I drove for them out of necessity when I started doing it as a side gig, and it did help me out for the first few years (probably not as much I as I think it really did...but I'm not going to go back and do all of that math--though I did check my fares to see how much Uber was taking from time to time and a few years ago, the percentage was acceptable). It was only in the last year after I bought a brand new car and was driving that, and started hearing that Uber was taking a higher percentage of the fare than they used to, and once I verified how that had changed, and once I got a raise at my regular job...I stopped driving and won't go back. Now, if anyone asks me about it, I try to discourage them from driving if they can help it.

You complaining about a thread bump is like DeBerg complaining about someone starting a shitty thread.
