Their offense is shorthanded. They're going to be missing their best offensive linemen and he happens to be the left tackle.

Vegas has an implied score of KC 27.5 to LAC 24.5

But, yeah, I'm not thinking it through in believing the Chargers could score 30 if the game goes into OT.

It wasn't about being nice. It was about being accurate in your analysis.

This all started with people talking about the Chargers scoring 30, which isn't likely to happen given the circumstances, especially since they only managed 30 in the first game, against an awful defense, and they were fully healthy.

The Chargers having a good offensive line seems almost antithetical to what we know about the team, but it proves that one can overhaul a bad unit with enough determination. Matt Feiler is having a career year as a modest free-agent acquisition to play one guard spot, while Corey Linsley and Rashawn Slater — the two higher profile additions — are both backing up their investment. If offensive linemen won such awards, then Slater would be the Offensive Rookie of the Year through nine weeks. He has allowed just 12 total pressures in eight games despite having to block Myles Garrett in one of them.
So their RT isn't particularly good either.

Chargers are in a world of hurt.

Nervous energy today. Too many key players out...variables are whacky in this one.

KC offense plays to its potential, it will be a double-digit victory. Offense plays down again, and repeats past mistakes (dropped passes, tipped passes for INT), we lose a close one.

If Jones plays, all bets are off. CJ + Melvin Ingram = devastation of the banged up Chargers OL. Herbert will be hit and pressured regularly.

I picked the Chiefs to win 33-30 in OT. That's not a wild prediction.

Other than Linsley and Slater, they've had issues off and on all year.
