God, I know next to nothing about Poles. Maybe I saw a post-draft interview with him on chiefs.com once? How Pats fans can be so militant about us trying to plant their seed is beyond me. "What do you mean you don't like the guy who used to work for us????!!! Are you just stupid or something?!" I've never once felt the need to defend Nagy, Peterson, or any Andy Reid hire to any other fan base. |
Good for Ryan Poles. I don’t know much about him but I’m glad he’s getting an opportunity. I’m not sold on Fields and I don’t think they have a first round pick this year. It’s probably going to be a while before the bears are legitimate contenders again.

An extra third round pick is freaking sweet. For two years? Hell yeah.

Chiefs fans right now, but with draft picks not dollars

But if the rumors are true, Poles was a big part of that last year in KC. Only problem is they can't focus solely on one position group the entire offseason. |
I'd need more insider info to make a decision how good this is for the Chiefs. A pretty big pay grade jump which may indicate a bigger loss than it appears but sometimes ignorance can be bliss so -- wheee, draft picks.

Bears also hired Poles college teammate at BC ( poles was Matt Ryan’s LT Trey Kosiol the TE)
Trey Kosiol who was the west coast scout for years then national scout and I think most recently asst director of college scouting. https://ontapsportsnet.com/2022/03/1...poles-history/ |
I hope the 3rd round pick we got from Da Bears, we pick a pass rushing OLB that get's more sacks than Khalil Mack.

Just under 6’4 250 4.57 40 34 5/8” arm length ( that’s better than many of the top DEs in this draft. 81 1/2 wingspan and like I said from the highlights he looks good in coverage as well. But you have to be prepared with a player like that with a potential plan to move him to DE if pass coverage doesn’t look as good now with the jump in competition with the NFL. I’d be interested in someone like htis opinion on him with how much big 10 he watches. Height weight speed length is damn impressive though. That Frank Clark size just a bit taller and lighter than frank. Very similar to size in Barr as well. Better length |
