We're not giving up basically what we gave up to get Mahomes for Williams. The dream is over. Thankfully. |

The first two rounds are shaping up to be able to remake our defensive line and WR room in one fell swoop, and passing that up to take one guy would go against everything we've done this offseason. |

I said it yesterday - it's not only counterproductive, it's counterintuitive. |
In fairness to C Watson, Ledyard’s ranking should probably give him more of an incomplete grade.
Ledyard admits that Watson “hails from a run-heavy NDSU” saying that the he did not get many chances in a less competitive conference/division (Missouri Valley in the FCS) vs the FBS. But when he did get the touches, he went “absolutely nuts” and also showed up big time at the senior bowl to show he can perform at the higher level of competition. Looking at Watson’s resume: - 9.96 overall RAS (4.36 40…better than Tyreek at 4.39)! - Height 6’5”!! - 20.4 YPCatch / 8.0 YPCarry - Reportedly a good route runner with great footwork and ball tracking ability - Reportedly has some issues with drops which is definitely concerning Bottom line for me…Reid, Veach and staff have earned trust enough to vet him out. I’m certainly a fan of him at the 50 spot. |
If this tells me anything, its to wait on WR until the 2nd round.

I’d be good with 3DL in first 3 picks (one bring a small trade down to add mid rounders. And then possibly move up a few slots from 62 to take a WR they like that skips within grasp. I’d love to get Skyy around 57 and Austin in the third, but I think Skyy may slip into the first round or very early second. |

I’m beyond excited for this draft. It’s equal excitement I have for playoff games. |

1st - #29 DT Wyatt 1st - #30 WR Burk 2nd - #50 WR Austin III 2nd - #62 DE Williams 3rd - #94 LB Walker 3rd - #103 OT Diesch 4th - #125 DE Malone 4th - #135 S Cross Sign DE Clowney 2-yr Contract |
I have a feeling both Wyatt and Burks will be gone in the top-20.
