I think that it's you that needs to get a clue. Look it up. Everything out there says that Jones did indeed sign for $1.5M. He got beat out by Fournette in Tampa and they didn't try to keep him around. Maybe you're overvaluing him? Last I checked, 25 year old running backs in high demand don't sign for 1.5M.

The contract has a max value of 5m according to Yahoo sports and Tom Pellisero. Regardless your point was utterly DUMB and ignorant. Yes things didn't work out in Tampa just like things didn't work out in Pittsburgh for James Connor and what did he do last season for the Cards? Ceh and Jet ARE INJURY PRONE and Jones is not sitting on no damn practice squad so think of another idea because that one is garbage fullstop.

Better check your sources. It's a max of $1.5M ($1.25M salary and $250K bonus) with only $500K guaranteed. It's a typical Veach "nothing ventured, nothing gained" type deal.

My source is yahoo sports and Tom Pelissero. That's where I saw max value of 5m. If it is 1.5m then great. My overall point remains the same though that Ceh and Jet cannot be trusted and Jones needs to be on this roster.

And he may well make the roster. You know, I did say that Gore and McKinnon could go to the PS as well. It wasn't like I said that it should be Jones. I said that I thought that he was 1 of 3 that I thought could make it to the PS. Maybe the Chiefs see it that way too. I have no problem with RoJo being the one that they keep on the roster. You missed my point that we could keep 3 RB on the active roster. You didn't argue that McKinnon wouldn't make it to the PS, so my point still stands.

Proven veteran players like Jet and Jones aren't going on anyone's practice squad as both of them have said they had other options. So all they'll do is go and explore those options once again. Go through other teams rosters and tell me RB vets of Jet and Jones's quality who are on practice squads?
